Turns out Jeremy is a gem of a host and turned the world of mushrooms into a fantastical and fascinating journey of discovery.
He was delightful, knowledgable and entertaining as he guided us through a patch of forest that would normally take 5 minutes to walk but took us a couple of hours. We were all so absorbed in this alternate world of mushrooms it felt like 5 minutes (and we even went overtime!).
I’ll be booking in with Jeremy for more mushroom walks. Can’t wait!

Minuscule white dots hiding underneath a rotting log? Spider webby looking stuff? Those tiny little yellow spots on the stem of a tree fern? Turns out they’re all mushrooms! You might need Jeremy from Partial Veil to find them for you, and I whole heartedly recommend you do join him on one of his mushroom walks. You never know what you’ll get when you book something like this and I was prepared for dull and boring and overly scientific. I went because after my foray into some mushrooms I found earlier in the year, I wanted to know how to find more of the sneaky little buggers.
